Zhuhai, China was lit with sound, light, and pure energy as Adamson’s new Vergence Group Series made its powerful debut at one of Asia’s most electrifying events, Vision and Colour Music Festival (VAC).
The 2-day festival pulsed with high-energy performances from international DJs including Calvin Harris, Chris Lake, Illenium, Excision, and Outlaw (DJ Snake). With a crowd of thousands ready to dance from day to night, Real Music Acoustics and Lighting Technology ensured that every beat and bassline hit with impact powered by Adamson’s Vergence Group VGt line arrays and VGs subwoofers.
Delivering pristine sound across massive outdoor spaces can be a challenge. Unpredictable weather, vast open areas, and high audience energy can easily compromise clarity. But Adamson’s innovative design, featuring patented M140 mid-range compression drivers, provided smooth and consistent coverage from front to back.
To achieve full-range, distortion-free sound, Real Music Acoustics deployed:
System Designer Richie Wang and System Engineer Liu Kaiji worked alongside the Real Music Acoustics team to bring the festival to life, ensuring seamless audio delivery across the sprawling outdoor venue.
“The debut of the VGt and VGs at VAC Festival was a great experience. The Vergence Group Series gives double the power to allow people to feel the music no matter where they’re standing in the festival, and we were able to use ArrayIntelligence 1.3 to bring a well-rounded experience for the audio engineers,” said Lee Stevens, Director of Sales, APAC at Adamson Systems Engineering.
The success of the Vergence Group’s debut reinforces Adamson’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of live sound technology, delivering not just volume, but clarity, power, and connection. The Vision and Colour Festival proved that innovation in sound design doesn’t just fill space — it transforms it.
