HELA Certification is comprehensive, covering eight critical areas:- Audience expectations - Human auditory system - Fundamentals of sound - Venue design - Noise pollution - Sound level limits - Personal hearing protection - Management and communication
By addressing these areas, HELA ensures that all stakeholders, from sound technicians to venue managers, are trained in responsible sound management. This initiative is necessary to protect audiences, coworkers, and neighbors from excessive noise and promote a healthier live music environment.
